Can you define Decent Places? My local Ace, and HD, have been big strikeouts for quality. I was using extension cords and cutting off the female end for a while. Most decent places will sell a replacement cord and strain reliefs.

home depot gave up on selling anything resembling service parts for tools a long time ago, at least around here. They do have generic replacement cords, but they **** and are expensive. Cutting the female end off an extension cord is probably the best you'll do, without ordering one. As a bonus, you can put a long cord on it, and not need an extension cord for a lot of uses. (only do that if you're not on an osha regulated job site.) I did that on my miter saw, and it's so nice to be able to set it up wherever, and just plug it in. (I even found one the right color to match the factory cord, and the right diamter to reuse the factory strain relief.)You used to be able to buy the skilsaw ones at HD beside the 77 triggers and brushes but I haven't looked in a few years.
all good...really looking more for strain relief ideas...thanks
