Looking for some input here. I’m looking to rent a shop this year and am trying to figure out the best ways to cool it this summer. Located in Massachusetts. Would a protacool work for me or is it just going to rust Eveything in the shop? I’m sharing the space so that won’t be an option if it rusts Eveything.

Thanks

Portacool is an evaporative cooler. It isn't going to be real effective in areas with high dew points. It is adding moisture to the air.

Pretty much what I figured. What’s the next best way to keep it somewhat cooler so I can work in there? Fans? Ac would be nice but not sure how economical that is to install

How big/tall is the shop? Is it even feasible to air condition the space? Will the doors be open all day, intermittently, or closed? What power is available and are you allowed to install your own equipment? Is the building insulated? What are you doing in there? Carpentry, mechanics, paint?
