So I was cutting some ship lap pine siding on my house today to remove and replace a window. I had built a little porch on this area a few years ago and metal post was near the window edge, so I couldn't really use my Bosch worm gear drive.
I tried this PC 314 I bought a while back thinking it was going to come in handy. I realized quickly that it was bogging and almost overheating. I had bought a plywood blade right when I bought it. I wound up using my 6.5 cordless DeWalt and even that one seemed to bog down a bit. I seem to recall the siding is pretty dense.
What are you guys using with the 314? I took the blade off and it says 3/8" arbor. I measured about 9.5 mm. I guess I'm looking for more like a framing- equivalent blade for it with course teeth.
