P-C 250MTK tool for less than $70.

It's a pretty good deal, but it is on Amazon so might not last long.

I picked one up.

That's a great price on that tool. Paid way more for mine, but bought it local and in a time of immediate need, otherwise I would have done the internet pricing thing.

I saw that this morning, but after reading the reviews it sounded like they used a proprietary blade (the hole is offset and different from all other brands) so you cant use anything but PC blades which also got terrible reviews. No idea how true it is since most people leaving negative reviews seem to have a chip on their shoulder about something

^^^^^^^^

I noticed the same issue with the proprietary blades, and I thank the above poster for posting a solution.

Just looking at the tool and the general selection of multi-tool blades out there, I assumed such a thing existed---thanks for finding it.

As many of us here have learned, Amazon reviews are not the be-all end-all of any given product. Besides the 1-star shills, there are frequently reviews from people who don't know how to use tools and expect far too much; further, their beefs are often with shipping and packaging, rather than the actual product.

I think my expectations for this tool are realistic considering the price point. I'll write a review on Amazon once I've put the tool through it's paces.
