The Bosch Colt is arguable better than both, $99 at Amazon now. I use Makitas at home and think they have the most versatility with attachments and a quality battery model. But the PC shines with laminate work. It’s the lightest router I’ve used and the adjustment mechanism is better than most for very fine adjustments. I would recommend it as a secondary router.

30 years ago, PC did make a good router. No arguments there.

Personally, I think the Bosch is a dog. Like Bosch, but that router is totally basic and was overpriced until competition came out.

Battery op trim router would be nice, you could practically run around your workpiece. Hows the balance on those tho? I imagine a bit top heavy.

Anyways, ive used them all, still think the Ridgid is the best bang for the buck + you get a sheet sander and LTW.

Which Bosch? they have a newer model of the Colt within the last 5 years, most of the things i didn't like about the Colt I got before it are addressed. I have one of each, use them both, the newer is much nicer in all the little details.
