I bought what may be a prototype Williams Superratchet. J.H. Willaims 1/2" drive ratchet with selector lever has a handle unlike any that I've seen. The selector side handle is marked with "S", then a "W" surrounded by a diamond and finally with PATD. The handle doesn't have the beavertail end but is instead a straight taper. The drive side is marked "Made In U.S.A."

Hi. It's not a prototype. It's old but no one has put an exact date on them.
Hi, 3baygarage. I appreciate your reply and am relieved that it's not a very valuable prototype. I've not been able to find any info, including Alloy Artifacts, so was stumped. I attempted to attach 2 eBay photos, but they failed to attach. I have been eagerly awaiting it's delivery today. The cardboard tube package did arrive, however, the sealing tape had been cut out with the ratchet stolen. It probably happened between 11:14PM Oct. 1 and 12:00PM Oct. 2 at the Charlotte, NC Dist. Center. When it arrived at the Huntsville, AL center at 9:49AM Oct. 2, It was noted that the tube was open and contents missing. It was probably a low-life meth-head who pawned it for his next fix. If my anger were rocket fuel, I would have already passed the moon. Thanks again, my friend. Charlie
