Possible stupid question -Matco JSC770 relatedz

I took delivery of my Matco JSC770 in Palestine Horse White, black trim and 4 swivel casters. My question is there a way of unlocking the drawers while keeping the lid down? I asked my dealer but he didn't know if the unit could do it.

I know it shows my lack of research, do any of you know if this is possible?

Technically no, its only 1 lock and the struts will force the lid open as soon as its unlocked. If you had something heavy sitting on top and unlocked it then yes you can access the drawers with the lid shut.
