I caught one using a can of tuna, open about a third of the way around and bent back. .22 Beretta target pistol took care of any chance that it would return

That is one unhappy animal!:shocking:

It and 4 more had been living the good life under my garage deck. My wife trapped all of them over a week's time while I was at work. She told me found she them a good home out in the country. I didn't ask her the details. . :lol_hitti

Cat food works well, I use a live trap and if I get a cat or two then I let them go. May take a couple days to catch the right animal but it works every time. (then they get an ****** to the corner of the property after a dose of lead)

If you do catch a skunk, just use a blanket or large towel to cover the trap. Move slowly towards the trap with the blanket held up like a curtain and cover them up. They will not spray if it is dark and enclosed. I have relocated 20+ this way over the years and never been sprayed. Still gets the heart rate up each time ;)
