Post Drill ID/Info Help

I just picked this old post drill press at a local swap meet this afternoon. I don't know much about it but I plan to restore it and put it to work.

I didn't find any markings other than these:
PD 30
PD 30-1
PD 30-20-30-2

If anyone knows anything about it, I would appreciate it if you would pass it along.

I have one real similar to that if not identical. Got it out of my grampa's shop. I haven't looked for any info yet. But I think they were made by Champion blower and forge. The pics of them is the closest I've seen yet. I also have a floor model that is about 6 foot tall made by the same company.

That brown cabinet is an old postage stamp/money box from a post office. The guy i bought it from told me his mom retired as a Postmaster in the early 80s and she had brought it home from work when he was a kid. It has a manufacturers date of 1947 stamped on the inside.
I use it to store small gaskets and carburetor parts.
