So today I start the actually build part of my pole barn. I wanted to wait until thursday and friday but the weather isn't going to cooperate.

So my question is, just to try to save a little time. Once I brace the poles in the ground after they're true, can I run put the skirt board, a run of girts around the middle and the truss carriers at the top, BEFORE i fill in the holes or is it best to wait until AFTER they're filled in to risk anything shifting.

Only asking because tomorrow the inspector is coming to check out the footers and, even though I doubt I'll get that far today, I'd like to make the most of my time off and be doing something. I talked to an inspector at the permit office and he said the hole depth is overkill for the area ( 4 feet ) and I should be fine as long as i dont try any short cuts.
