So my town will allow a post frame but they said they don’t allow the walls to touch the ground because of frost heave. So I cannot have a pressure treated grade board on grade. Has anyone dealt with this and how did you work around this to still get an enclosed garage. My thought is to have 2” rigid foam between the ground and any part of the building’s walls that would touch the ground. But how do I hide the foam on the exterior sides of the building. I’m looking for examples so I can have a plan before I apply for the permit. Thanks in advance.

An AL sideing guy will have the material and a sheet metal brake to fab up a custom skirt.
Slide it up behind the sideing and out over the foam
