I'm wanting to replace my heavy, warped, wooden sliding barn style doors on my shed with the extruded aluminum and girt framing and then cover the framing with metal panels.
I purchased extra panels to do the sliding doors when I firred out the t1-11 siding on the shed and put the metal siding on.
I've researched a couple of manufacturers including Cannonball and Red Dot Products, but I can't find a building supply close to Richmond, VA that stocks those brands.
I matched the metal siding I had installed on my adjacent garage, but the building supply where I got the siding from wanted to charge a gawd-awful freight charge for the sliding door aluminum framework that they didn't stock.
Has anyone used this framework before, and if so, where did you purchase it from? Cannonball calls it Kwik Frame. It makes for a very neat surface to install the metal siding on, complete with a j-channel to tuck the edge of the metal panel under. Thanks
