Post grinding prep for epoxy (sat for 3 months)?

I had my garage professionally ground last fall in preparation for the epoxy install. Ran out of time and up against winter last year, so the garage has sat.

No oil has gotten on it and I have been as careful as possible about keeping it clean in the last few months (insert terms for divorce and multiple arguments with wife here).


Two questions on proper prep;

1. What product/method would you recommend cleaning it with?
2. Do you prep the cracks then wash, or wash, prep, wash?

Exact process and details are always welcomed.

I don't see the need to wash if it has been ground unless it is filthy.
A good vac job is all you need, then prep your cracks, then coat.

Thanks. That takes me to another question... My Craftsman vac seems to leave black marks on the floor now that it has a little more texture to it.

Any thoughts or recommendations on this? is there any kindof tape or something else I could put on the floor nozzle that would not leave a residue.

You answered your own question. Line the mouth with duct tape (mouth of vac) and pull it gently back across the floor.
