I need to find a Sears item number for a pair of post hole diggers. These are Craftsman, but appear similar to Ames Tru Temper 1711900. They are 6" wide, and have red fiberglass handles, with a crossover design for compound leverage. Customer brought in a pair with the item number rubbed off, and I cannot find a price to issue a refund, since we no longer stock any similar item.

Sorry, but that is not the correct item. The item I am looking for is one we no longer sell, we had it about a year or a year-and-a-half ago. It has compound leverage handles, really a nice post hole digger. If you google (or even search on the Sears site) 1711900, it will bring up a picture of the Ames True Temper version of the same tool, but I am looking for a Sears item number for the Craftsman version.

How about a post hole auger instead?

This is the only style I've ever used and the one I use has to be over 50 years old. A clam shell style sure look like a lot of work.

His OP stated that he needed to find a price for the Craftsman version of these:

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000B6RJPW/?tag=atomicindus08-20

Since someone brought it in for refund and he doesn't know what mount to refund.
