I need to mount some post lamps to some precast concrete piers and wood posts.

The bases are nice powder coated black as are the lamps.

I want hardware that is black and attractive. NOT TRYING TO PAINT TAP-CONS OR SIMILAR.

Plastic hinge cover cap? Was seriously considering this, but naturally store did not have enough.

Acorn nuts on a piece of all-thread with plastic insert?

I have (4) to mount on concrete pier caps and (2) to mount on ends of wooden posts.

Looking for attractive ideas that are easily sourced.

Why not use a plastic insert anchor and a 2” black hex head metal barn roof screw ? They are made to resist weather. Just put caulk in the anchor hole so water can’t get in freeze and bust the concrete.IMG_4252.png

Try this style from mcmaster. Close to what you already pictured.

The metal piece of the cap could double as the anchor washer.

Also if the cap needed replacing due to uv deterioration, the anchor would not need to come out.
