Post Lift Purchase Question

I am in the process of selecting a 4 Post Lift. I have narrowed my selection to 2 units.

Bend Pak HD 9ST
Worth SP7000

I realize that the Bend Pak is rated for 9000# and the Worth is rated for 7000#. The weight of the Worth is 1700# versus 1450# for the Bend Pak. Anyone here have experience with either lift or an opinion on either lift. I would be purchasing the Worth from the factory and the Bend Pak from Automotive Service Equipment. Thanks for the help!

Iv had the Bend-Pak HD 9ST for about 1 year. So far its been great. No problems at all. Bend-pak has great customer service.

I'm in the process of purchasing a 4 post lift as well. The Bend Pak lifts are pretty nice,but I don't like the fact that you have to have an air line run to it to work the locks. I also didn't like the way the lock plates flopped around inside the posts. I am buying a lift from Superlifts in Missouri,and like how it's built a lot better. Plus,it's made in America.

From the superlifts website:

I looked at the super lifts and was not impressed. The above lift does not have the widest drive through so I am wondering what they are considering major brands. Also they can't be bothered to put the prices on their website other than "starting at". Can't do much research when they withhold information. Why won't they post the prices? Are they worried about something? Very irritating.

I chose to buy (2) Pro-Park 9 WTW lifts. There has to be three system failures for a crash. The primary safety locks would have to break, then the cables would have to snap, and then the secondary safety locks that engage if the cables break would also have to fail. Not saying it can't happen but I don't know of any lifts that require (4) system failures to crash....

I've had that exact Bend Pak lift for about 3 years now. It's a great lift for a good price. I highly recommend it.

I also looked for months and checked so many out...take a look at the Pro Park 9 (not the 7 or 8) as they are different designs. It is the only one to have a back up safety.
