Post savers for pole barns

Are they worth the small additional expense if you are burying the posts? I don't see them talked about much. Or is it worth the additional expense to use post brackets in concrete?

I'm not sure what you are calling "post savers", as there are a number of different products. I've built a number of pole structures on the farm. Today's pressure-treated 6x6s are ****, but at least they're expensive. For my current 40x80 building, I'm using PermaColumn concrete bases and laminated triple 2x6 columns. The quality is much better and I don't need to worry about rot.
