I have an opportunity to purchase this post jib crane for my garage. The contractor doing the job has it and has offered it to me for 500 bucks. I really want to add it to the build but can't figure out who it's made by. The hoist is a ½ ton which does not matter cause I'm changing it to a manual vs electric hoist. The reason I'm trying to find the manufacturer is so I can get some suggested mounting options. I'm thinking we may need to go below the grade a few feet and pour a 4' square pad. I need to be cautious with my heated floor tubes so nothing gets damaged if it flexes.
I don't plan to use it for extremely heavy work, maybe lifting heads or moving parts around.
The cylinder is roughly 12" diameter and roughly 10'6 tall. The I beam is 10'6 long from the center pivot and then on the opposite side from the trolley is a small basket for a counterweight.
Now the only thing I can tell is the I beam says cleveland electric tramrail, that seems to be used quite a bit on cranes though. I dont think it's the crane manufacturer.
