Very nice. Does it have any branding on it at all? Do you use it frequently? I love the versatility of them...having all that depth below the jaws comes in handy for certain things.
Here are a couple of mine. I like post vises also. Both are mounted to steel. The 6" is a JJ Krenz marked 1898. It uses most of the original mounting bracket to hold it to a steel column. It's pretty solid. The 8" is free standing but bolted and welded to the floor. The original mount was never going to be solid enough for what I wanted so I recessed a thick plate to hold the vise body and clamped it in so it cannot twist. It's foot is set in a heavy casting poured full of crusher backing which will not yield. It is so solid it gives good rebound off the static jaw. Ed.
