I looked at the sale advertising from Home Depot & Lowe’s in the morning paper and am grateful that I don’t feel that I need to run to either of those stores, because I have what I feel I need.

Saved about $50.00 on a Fluval Plant 3.0 LED light for the fishtank. The timing was perfect. The old lighting is starting to go.

Hulu's Black Friday deal is back: $1.99 per month for 12 months for new and returning subscribers. If your an existing customer you would need to cancel and sign up for the deal using a different email address. Deal ends @ 11:59 P.M. on Monday (11/30)

Been wanting to add a battery powered ratchet to my tools - not sure how much I'll use it so not going high end at this time. Spent a bunch of time looking at models/features/reviews on Amazon a couple days ago and added all that fit in my price range to my wish list. Probably had 8 or 10. Today went in to see and over half of them were on Black Friday deals. Narrowed it down to 2 and went with the slightly more expensive "Amazon's Choice" and "Top Seller" unit that was five bucks more than the other... 21% off, I forgot to add...

My Christmas shopping is over :)

I just placed an order with Newark Electronics. Next day I get a promo for 15% OFF.geezz cant win.Its good until Nov 30

Of course. That's how the "System" works. I get discount offers for things I just bought all the time, sometimes within minutes. When that happens, I call or email Customer Service and ask for an adjustment. You'd be surprised how often they give you the discount retroactively.

Ha - this is what I've been doing for the past MONTH.

https://toolguyd.com/black-friday-tool-deals/ (Table of Contents)

I've been categorizing the deals, with lot of HD, Dewalt, and Milwaukee.

https://toolguyd.com/tag/dewalt-tool-deals-holiday-2020/
https://toolguyd.com/tag/milwaukee-tool-deals-holiday-2020/
https://toolguyd.com/tag/home-depot-tool-deals-holiday-2020/

I've been wanting to share, but there's too great a chance it would come across as self-promotion so I haven't, as I didn't want Ryan or a mod to have to decide if it's self-promotion or an attempt to provide beneficial info.

Things have been very different with the deals this year, but I'm expecting for a surge of more deals tomorrow as flash sales. Maybe. Hopefully?

Thanks Stuey,

Your posts are not at all coming across as self promoting, but instead very useful. Thank You!
Being sensitive about self promotion is a very good trait to have and appreciated,

Here's two that I'll add that I saw on TG that should be mentioned here.

Wera #2 bits, 20 of them for $9.60 w/free ship. Just need to click other sellers to see the deal. Probably wont last long. ** Looks dead **

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07482RBQC/?tag=toolguyd-20

Knipex 70 01 160, 6 1/4-Inch Diagonal Cutters for $20 w/free ship, Amazon deals are going super quick and prices are moving all over the place so don't think on them for too long.

Just a heads up - GoPro has a pretty good bundle deal on the Hero 9 if you are in the market. Go to GoPro's web site - https://gopro.com/en/us/

Bundle is $349

Has been $350 a few times since it launched. Waiting for a nice discount that doesn't require the subscription plan. Also lots of quality control issues noted on the Hero9.

Not to mention they charge sales tax based on the MSRP of everything regardless of actual sales price which is stupid.

Edit:
If you don't care about the bundle and want a better return policy, Amazon has it for $399 with a $50 gift card.

I am new to the GoPro world. The subscription seems good for if it gets broke. However can you still get it replaced without the subscription service?

You're welcome, and thank you - I'm glad to help!

Thanks! Awfully tempting! I'm just worried about finding the time to put the kit together in coming weeks.

Benjamen (ToolGuyd contributor) always seemed to struggle with an entry-priced imported 3D printer. He got a Prusa (I kind of pushed him into it, for review purposes), and he's been doing amazing things with it (https://www.instagram.com/electronsmith/).

He sold me on 3D printing and the Prusa. I bought a basic printer a few years ago and returning it after a week of not being able to get the "turn key" machine to do even a single calibration print.

Is it me or is their not too many tool deals to select from on this Black Friday?

Aside from KC Tools, some cordless deals and some token Amazon one's that go too quickly, I'm not seeing a wide variety to choose from? My Amazon luke warm deals that were sitting in my cart that were prior to BF (tues/Wed) all went up about 10-15% automatically today.

Just finished placing two HF US General 44” boxes in the garage for $719.98. I was so dang jazzed when the manager gave me 20% coupon on top of the sale price (it was a manual override). I just smiled like a little kid inside as the price dropped.

Pure luck. Was nice to the store manager as he was checking stock. He was the one who thought coupon should apply. Stood there during checkout and put in the override. I’d post receipt but I don’t know how to post pictures.

Just got home from picking up my Lowe's order.Deal runs thru Dec 2nd. They have the Dewalt 12v impact driver OR 12v drill for $79.00 ,you get 2 batteries, charger and bag. They do have a kit that gets both the drill and the impact for $149 but for the extra $9 you get a spare charger and bag. While not the strongest out there I bought it mainly for the batteries as both of my Dewalt lasers, used daily have the 12 volt system and ,in my mind the tool was essentially free. It won't replace my 18v Makita brushless subcompact I drive screws with all day but will stay handy on many jobs. https://www.lowes.com/pd/DEWAL...11eb825407e60a24060e

Nice deal for all you electrician tech's, made in Germany. $57 w/free ship.

Felo E-Smart Box kit with 12 Interchangeable Insulated Blades and Handle in hard case. 1,000V rated

These look really well made, high quality with a cool feature to turns the blade into a precision jeweler type screwdriver with a spin top.

Lowest price this year, the lowest ever was only a couple buck less and it normally sells for way more. I think I would prefer these over other insulated drivers?

Been wanting to add a battery powered ratchet to my tools - not sure how much I'll use it so not going high end at this time.

My Christmas shopping is over :)

I purchased my first battery ratchet 2 months ago. AC Delco 3/8. My 02F150 needed new timing chains. Never thought I would like the darn thing so much.
One of my favorite must have tool toys now. :D
