Tried refreshing it - still not working.

Red X - Blue X - Color doesn't matter especially if you're color blind (not that I am).

Does red/green color blindness count? If so, I am.

I'm sure there's a forum rule somewhere that says we can't discriminate based on anything so your red / green color blindness counts for something (although I'm not quite what sure in this case).:)

I have seven 8' T-12 fixtures in my work bay 12x30x8'high. There is one fixture above the work bench with a single 2x4 wrap with T8 bulbs.
The rest of the garage is lit with the 26 or 28 watt whatever daylight pigtail bulbs that **** ****.

Garage is far from finished but most of the lighting is in place. 120' of T5's (5000k), MR16's (4200k) on remote taroidal transformers, and PAR30 soffit lighting. Still have to install 50' of Color Kinetics LED cove lighting. SD

T8's 2x4 two bulbs, hanging at approx 10 feet. One room is 25x30, and one is 15x30. Can't recall the bulb specifics offhand...

The pics I have of the smaller room don't show the lighting as well, but it's the same, 6 tandem 48" two bulb T8's:

For those of you who have flushmounted fluo strips, what type of junction box have you used? Rectangular? Round? Is conduit required if I mount the fluo strips on spacer blocks to avoid the overheating issue I've read about?

Drmarkr,
I can see my new shop looking pretty close to yours as far as the nomenclature.
I will say that my lights will either be higher or my roof lower. Seems like wasted space there with all of the fixtures hanging down. I will have 12' walls on the steel building, and I have options on how high my interior ceiling will be on the half that I close in. But with 11 motorcycles total, parking arangements have definetly been part of my thought process! I like your floors and most everything else you have setup in there. I've been watching what the lifts on ebay are going for and keeping an ear out for which m/c lifts are good or bad. I will be in the market for one. I have a single post inground lift that I plan on burying when I get everything like I want it. I thought about setting it in or at least setting the concrete for it before the pour, but I don't want to committ to the location of it yet. Choices are killing my brain. Sorry for the long rant but I suppose I still have some venting to do.

OldCarGuy,
I see you have a little space between that blast cabinet and the mill. Is that where my sleeping bag will go? I don't eat much, although it looks as if I could consume quite a bit of knowledge in that shop!

I wish I had a Sisteen Chapel (Sp?) for a garage.

I'm proud to show off my new building with lighting.
It's a 36' x 56' building with 12' ceilings.
There are 28 Energy Star T8's with two 4' bulbs in each fixture. Electronic ballasts. I have them divided on three seperate grids controlled by motion sensors (adjustable time and there is a manual override also).

After working in many a dark shop I have decided to possibly do a little overkill in my garage. 22 - 4' t-8 fixtures butted together in 8 foot lengths. Mine are Canarm hanging shop fixtures, but they have been altered to be hardmounted and hardwired instead of plugged in. I am quite happy with the light output. I am using the coolwhite 32w bulbs. I'm not sure on the K rating but they're nice and bright. I hung them in 3 banks of 3 -8' and then added two extra 8' at the end that I'll have my work area on. I've got them on 4 separate switches, but what I really like the best is the pullchains so that I can turn off a few here or there if I don't need that much brightness all the time.
