A proto with a indexable head and flexing head. But only 36 teeth which kinda defeats the purpose of a ratchet designed to work in tight situations

I have one. It can be very helpful in getting a fastener started in a very tight spot where you have very limited access. Having said that I might have used the tool three times in the past four or five years, but when I needed it I was glad I had it.

I'm rather fond of my Nepros leather gripped ratchet, even if it is a bit too nice to use on many of the jobs I'd grab a 3/8ths drive for

I made the mistake of discovering their wood handled ratchets. I very badly want one but could not justify using that piece of art to do actual work

This is my most used ratchet. The ratchet itself is nothing special, but the handle is one of the few examples of this style that I've seen. It's shaped like a soft grip handle, but it's hard plastic. I'm pretty sure they don't make that style handle anymore, and didn't for very long. Shortly after I bought it, I used a cheater bar on it :)boxer: ) and broke it. My Snappy dealer was sympathetic and replaced the ratchet, but he couldn't get that handle anymore, so I had to swap it over from the broken one.

Here's my two favorite unique ones.

The stubby, a friend built it by cutting off a ratchet. My friend traded it at a used shop, and I bought it, and shaped the end and polished it to what it is today. It looks and feels factory, and I love the balance of it. It had a 30 tooth head on it, but I warrantied a new F80 flex, and and switched out the lower tooth count head and kept the F80 head to put on this one.

The 1/4" bit driver flex I made using a rebuild kit and a 1/4" flex ratchet. I love it for using where limited space and torx or hex heads need turned.

Do you know the part number for that rebuild kit? I got as far as the THNFDM72R tool but can't find info after that. I'd love to convert my pearl blue ratchet to bit holding.

It’s probably not that unique, and it’s only like 15 years old... but this SO FC936 is my favorite. It’s a 1/4” drive body, with a 3/8” DR head on it. SO still makes a stubby 3/8” but it’s not like this.
