don't use if often, but it's handy when working under the dash of an old vehicle with a short extension on it. Palm ratchet, basically a ratchet with no handle. For small nuts/bolts you don't need much force to tighten/loosen them, and not having the handle makes it easier in tight spots... sometimes.

SK makes a ratcheting version of that that is 1/4 and another and 3/8

SK Tools USA, LLC , 49270, SK Ratchets, Professional Thumbwheel Ratchet, 1/4 Drive, 1.5 Inch, SuperKrome Finish

For reasons that no one understands, the 3/8 version is less expensive than the 1/4-inch version. Right now.

here's a few I have at home left to right/top to bottom:
Wera quick release
Vim NR400 might be cheating though as it's a bit ratchet with a 1/4 square insert, less than 2 inches long.
Titan micro ratchet next to a dime. Probably the smallest head I've seen on a 1/4 ratchet.
Titan black stubby roto head popular in this thread. I'd like to see this available in brighter colors

Looks interesting, but the few amazon reviews are bad; complaining about being seized. Can they be disassembled?
I'll be interested to see what the answer is, but I doubt it. I'll check my 90 tooth when I get home. I mean it's not a bit Rachel but I'm assuming if the 90 isn't the 60 isn't either.

Tekton's version is, but it's twice the price.

Can they be disassembled?
Yes. Looks like it uses two tiny "TORX" screws to secure the face plate.
No idea why they would be "seized". My first guess would be user error - trying to push it beyond its limits. This is not what you pull out of a drawer to tighten head bolts.
I just noticed it's a quick-release type.

I sent out several of those gimbal-head "Titan" mini ratchets last year for "Secret Santa" and thus far haven't heard any negative reports about them. (see @Fedwrench 's post above - post #16)
Considering their size, and the price, I would posit it's simply not realistic to think one can push this thing much past about 15-20 foot pounds.
You're going to get paper money back in change from a $20 bill - what do you want for that kind of money?

^ You can buy TWO Titan ratchets for less than the cost of a couple bottles of nail polish.
??

How many bottles of nail polish does it take to add up to one Shetland Pony? An Empire State building? A breadbox?

Sorry, not a real nail polish consumer....

Koken and a Snap-On. The Koken is kind of a novelty it came on a keychain, but is a fully functioning ratchet. The Back Drag is actually slightly less than Snap-on although being a lower tooth count it's not as smooth, but it is pretty impressive as it is.

It's not the shortest, but the smallest *head* ratchet I have is the Gearwrench 81025.

I love this little guy. Smooth action, fine tooth, tiny head, accepts both 1/4" square drive sockets and 1/4" hex drive bits. Surprisingly ergonomic. If it can't fit somewhere, you aren't getting a socket there!

Honestly the small one is a no name eBay find for $5. Smallest 1/4" ratchet I've ever seen in person that is still useable. The Wright might be a good choice too and would probably be my #1 choice in the tiny category all things considered.
