I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and a Photobucket account. When I "attempt " to post a picture from photobucket, if one clicks on the posted photo they can then go to my Photobucket account and all my pictures. Is there a way to just post the picture without the access to the whole album? Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

I don't know if there is a way to make the picture non-clickable, but in the app, if you go to Library> then click on an Album, (my pictures auto load to Mobile Uploads) and in the top right where the share icon and the 3 vertical dots are, click on the 3 dots drop down, then album info and the pop up box should show public or private, if you click on the edit button, you can make the album private so when someone clicks on a picture you posted, it just shows that, nothing else in the album. on the website, you can automatically make all of the albums private under one of the settings.

I figured it out as I was typing! I had already had my albums set to private for years but didn't know how to do it from the phone app. ive thought about making a switch to something else, but I have too much stuff saved in photobucket, probably going back 12+yrs and 99% of the time im posting from my phone, especially if posting pictures, and the photobucket app is quick and easy enough to use.

Seeing as there was talk about photo bucket on this thread I would like to ask a question about photobucket. My question is the following. Do I have to be a photo bucket member also to see the pictures posted?

NO, not necessarily. PB has basically screwed the entire internet in one fell swoop when they changed their terms of use.

Some photos might be seen while others won't. Some that were currently paying for the service can't see their pictures while others can. There are those that are getting the same results with free accounts.

Basically Photobucket is now charging for people to host photos and display them on a forum. The plan to be able to do so is almost $400 a year.

As mentioned above by NUTTSGT, implementation and experiences vary widely.

I had less than 400 photos uploaded and maybe only a third of those posted on various boards. They shut me down, so I have downloaded my pictures, deleted my photobucket account, and changed to Flickr.
