Pouring a pad on drainage stone

I ordered a bunch of drainage stone to put down between my neighbors house and mine where the "grass" was really just overgrown weeds and mud. I called up my local supplier, they recommended drainage stone. I gave them the sq.ft of the area and the depth I wanted to go (3") and long story short they over sold me by close to 1.5 yards I'd say.

Now my question is I originally planned to pour a pad for a shed in the backyard but wasn't going to be until next year. Now that I have all this excess drainage stone, my question is can I use it as a base for concrete pad? I haven't decided if I am going to build to the limit without a permit (108sq.ft) or go bigger.

This is a picture of the size of stone.

Any help would be appreciated :)

If it wasn't rounded stone you could as crushed stone with sharp edges can be compacted. Since it is round it really needs to come up as that stuff won't compact and can end up shifting after the slab is poured.
