Power even with switch off??

I have two fixtures on either side of the entrance door to my house. They have photo-sensors and a standard light switch inside the house (next to two other interior light switches which share some of the wiring).

I recently replaced the incandescent bulbs with LED and notice something strange. Even when the photo sensor switches to "off" the lights are still on but dim. Obviously, some power is still going to the bulbs. If I flip the power switch off they do go off entirely.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

They only need a tiny little bit of power to come on. Could be coming from the neutral.

The photo sensors you have are not compatible with LED bulbs. The sensors apparently do not require a separate neutral connection and allow some voltage to pass through the lamp to operate. The voltage is not enough to light an incandescent bulb but is enough to light a LED.

I have similar problem when the neutral for a particular branch is disconnected/not hooked up properly... power (some voltage) leak back from the other circuit that is on... So I would double check everything with continuity meter.....
