Once a year around this time (fall) I go up on the roof to clean out the gutter on the South side of the garage. The power line to my house runs right over the garage and dips as low as 5 feet above the roof. It would be easy to walk or back into it while up there.
I always tell myself, "BE CAREFUL ABOUT THAT POWER LINE!" But while I have never bumped into it, I often forget it is there and am unpleasantly surprised when it crossed my vision. It doesn't help that I am always looking down when I'm on the roof, watching my footing or whatever I'm doing. The line is just high enough it is often out of my vision.
Anyone have any great tips on avoiding contact with the power line? I don't want an accidental zapping!
