Is the power probe 1 any good I can't find know review on it also how much would u pay for one of these used

I would but that's a lot of money I restor cars for fun I am a baker right now I am building a 1952 ford customline 2 door coupe

I don't know what kind of deal you're getting, but I see Power Probe I selling for like $85 right now.

The Power Probe III is only like $100, and adds so much more capability.

I think it would be worth the extra money.

Their demo video of it makes me want one even though I don't really have a use right now:

if you buy a power probe you need to be carefull with it they will easely take out pcms, ecms, bcms etc when you apply power or ground to circuts if you dont know what your doing

With the power probe,don't use them on CAN vehicles and there is a reason why.Can do damage the the PCM and I went a class on this on Saturday,Controller area network system and "no scan tool communication.It was at a tech show by Auto Value parts stores in Grand Rapids,Mi.The instuctor replaced one PCM because someone used a powerprobe doing some tests on a vehicle.
