Hey guys, I just ordered one of these.....it is the Power Probe 3 Master Kit.....I've had it on my watchlist for over a year & it has never dropped below $204 anytime I have checked it.

Today it dropped to $164.81 with free shipping (and tax depending on your location).

I saw that the regular Power Probe 3 (not master kit) was fairly cheap at Sears.....but this one comes with everything, including the ECT2000 Open Short Detector ($120 by itself).

Most likely.....but these will still be a very good addition to any toolbox, and I have heard nothing but great things about them. I looked online & on Power Probe's site, but there is no mention of anything new coming out as of yet.

It's not a bad price at all on Amazon. I've been getting $30 in points on $200 coupons from Sears and that alone (plus a small filler) combined with SAVE15 would make it about $150 at Sears, but then add tax...so pretty much a wash, but as SS said probably a bit cheaper at Sears with the right coupon combo. Current price on Sears is $193.89.

It still could be a good deal if you can get a coupon code to work or have some surprise points.

I think I saw the Sears kit at $173 a few days ago when I posted the PP3 deal. So they just jacked up the price $20 in the last few days.

No the price just increased (prices often change quickly on Amazon). Amazon prime doesn't get you special pricing...just free 2-day shipping. The price of products is the same for everyone.

Prime only gives the members free 2-day shipping.....anything over $35 w/amazon.com as the seller still gives everyone free shipping (just not 2 day)
