Your link was not the product. I do have the master set that includes the short finder and I use it the most in the kit. I really like it and would recommend it. Good for truck body add ons that you don't have wiring diagram or if you do it's useless, or trailers.

Just used it last week on a arrow board short from the factory.

I have had a Matco version for 10 or 15 years. They work pretty good, I have a telecom toner that is better at a distance (meant to search through plaster walls). Either type can usually be had at a Pawn Shop for $75.

i read the reviews, some say it's doesn't work to find interior shorts, mostly ones that are to the fuse box.
