Power probe IV vs the hook

Hey I'm looking at purchasing a power probe. I'm curious if it's worth the extra money to upgrade to the hook vs the power probe IV? Both seem like very good electrical diagnostic tools.

It can be helpful to search. The forum's search function isn't great, most members use the following format in a Google search, it'll only bring up results from Garage Journal.

Leave out the quotes and parentheses.
