I'm looking for comments from users of power rollers, and airless spray systems. What have you used and how do you like it.
The brother-in-law is selling his house, and I get to paint some rooms for him. He's paying for the materials, and I'm thinking there may be some new tools needed too.
I have done a fair amount of painting and have a fine collection of drop-clothes, buckets, scrapers, brushes and rollers. I've done some auto spraying, but never house paint.
I have roughly estimated there is about 20 man hours of cleaning, patching and otherwise prep'ing the walls, and about 30-40 man-hours per coat of painting with brush and roller. (My slow pace, pro quality, but not at pro speed.)
I'm thinking I can maybe get 5 hundo out of him to buy something.
In this case the rooms will be cleaned out, its about 2600 sq ft of wall with 800 ln ft of wood trim, and 290 ln ft of ceiling line.
Thanks for any advice!
