Power Scan PS-100 or Power Probe IV?

For the people that have one, or even better, those that have used both, what are your thoughts on each.
A little background:
I just started back doing mechanical work on trucks after a 15 year hiatus. I do mostly general truck repairs, but I also dabble with cars from time-to-time. Where I'm working now there is no real internal engine and computer system repairs, but all those years ago I did major mechanical rebuilds and electronic repairs. I may not go back to that style of work, but you never know.
So, what are your thoughts on each? It seems the PP IV is about twice the price, but if it's a much better tool, I'd rather only buy it once. But if they are close in capabilities and reliability, I don't want to waste the money.

Do a search here, there are a few threads comparing the two. As far as I remember the reviews for the power scan where not great

I saw a few reviews on the Power scan that were saying it was bad. Basically said it was a poor Power Probe knock off. The Power Probe 4 is in my cart on Tooltopia.com for $160. Hopefully going to pull the trigger soon. May sell my PP3 first . Looked at it on Amazon and the price is right. Has good reviews there but none really described why it's good. I can't remember where I saw the review but it w wejt into detail of why it was bad and a knock off.

Also its made by Autel and they make decent scan tools. Looking at the features and specs it seems like it does a lot for the money. It's like $70 on Amazon. It does a lot for $70.

I tried that first, but only came up with one thread from back in January. On that thread their was very little known about the comparisons of the two. I was hoping by now others had had a chance to see and use both.
