A while ago I found a great deal on a 14 inch jet drill press on Craigslist, of course, it's missing a few parts and I've been putting it back together little by little. The problem I'm having is finding GOOD parts, I got some from the jet website, e-replacement parts.com and searspartsdirect.com. My problem is that some of them have been of terrible quality.

Any other replacement part resources you guys know of?

If you have the facilities you can machine your own.

If you can find another drill press or another like it then you might be able to make 1 good out of 2 bad.

I can find parts, but they're "equivalent". For example, the original pulleys are very nicely machined, the two replacement pulleys I've found (from the jet support group) are now cast and of very poor quality and fit.

Not sure what's really unique to that specific drill, but pulleys, bearings, and other common driveline parts can simply be measured and generics ordered through any of the industrial supply houses, usually for less than through the tool "manufacturer." I needed one of the drive pulleys for my lil Atlas metal shaper a few years ago, IIRC Kaman charged me $15 and I had it the next day.

funny you should mention. I looked up in McMaster and they have the pulley I need, should be here Monday. not sure why I didn't think to look there for that pulley, particularly since I bought a chuck and the arbor from them a couple of weeks ago.
