I need to join a PTA Group
Just started inventorying all my corded gadgets.
Most of these see very limited use, as I take on a *full scale project* at home once every 3-7 years....

I've seen your sockets/toolbox threads and for a weekend warrior like myself, my toolbox is nowhere as closes as the auto wrenching tools you guys have.

Here's my incomplete short list....cordless tools exempt for now....

I hope you don't feel that bad about your list. Name brands aside, I have about the same with the exception of the number of sanders. I consider my collection small. I don't see a framing nailer in your list so add that to mine.

Most of my projects are full room remodels....and I'm generally either going to frame with a mixture of steel and wood. So I'm heavy with the cordless / and GRK framing screws.

Someone from the other side of the sea who prefers Hilti over Bosch.....

My cabinetmaker, who used to be in the fields of some trade told me the Bosch's overseas are more preferable over the Hilti equivalents.


If I played with concrete more, I might drink more of the red Kool Aid. But for me, I mainly just punch a small hole here or there....more often than going all in on concrete.

I am a circ saw and sawzall kind of wood worker. I got a table saw which had been in the way in the shop for years when the use is so occasional, I can walk over to the other building. Big junk collector. It would have to be super cheap for me to buy something I didnt need.

Pretty much anyone I know of that puts suspended ceilings and dry lining walls up uses a Hilti laser and Hilti colleted feed screwgun, plus a gas powered Hilti GX120 nailgun.
