My slab was power troweled, but a small leaf ended up on the finish and you can see that it’s rough where the leaf was. I’m going to etch the floor. Will the leaf imprint still be visible? Should I try to patch it? I’m concerned I’ll make it worse by trying to fix it...

Not everyone can afford a leaf pattern in the floor and you got one for free. Love it, embrace it, and feature it.

Poured my slab last early winter. Waited for my red oak to lose all the leaves. Delayed 2 weeks for this. When they were pouring, the neighbor's tree leaves started blowing into my side!

I've got a handful of leave imprints. I'm with Larry, just leave it. If I try to cover mine up, it would wind up looking worse. I'm living with them. Not a museum floor. Just move on.
