Is ther a such thing as a quality Electric power washer? I looked at a wall mount setup but most of those have a max psi of 1500, was wanting something more powerful because my first project with it will be to acid wash the shop floor. Any ideas?

I went down this same road over a year ago. Besides the difficulty finding a well made electric unit (mostly made out of plastic, poor ratings), you can't use more than 100' from an outlet. I bought a gas powered Water Cannon instead, great unit that will last decades, gets top reviews, and goes anywhere - my recommendation.

Check out Obsessed Garage. Matt is a Kranzle dealer which is just an awesome pressure washer. I have the portable unit Matt sells but he is working on a custom modified one that will be a wall mount.

Looks like Kranzle is a quality unit, but also over $1K - I was thinking more like Karcher. OP, what is your price range?

the only good electric washers are the expensive ones, the plasticky ones are ok for light duty but very compromised. the good electric ones are better than gas

i sold 1 about a month ago. it was around 2500psi, don't know gpm. bought that 1 cheap in unknown condition, took a chance. ended up working good. i sold it for 200.00, everybody was happy. real electric P/W's are expensive. i always recommend people check your area to see if there are cleaning companies that carry washers, pumps and service machines. they sometimes have used equipment.

I was thinking $1,000 and down, It doesn't need to be portable. It will be used often for power wasting cars/car parts.

decent electric pressure washers start at 1500 and go up. Also all of them with any real pressure require 220v. They are heavy, bulky, and personally I dont think they work aswell as there gas powered counterparts.

I bought one from northern years ago house brand that was rated 1300 psi but 3 something gpm. it wasn't cheep back then but has been a great pressure washer. I compares nothing like little cheep 1500 psi low gpm pump that they sell. I'm going to hate it when it dies because northern doesn't sell them any more. I have washed equipment with it striped paint on houses. I think the really high pressure ones are hard on car paint if not very careful mine will peel paint. I was a small carry type the could be wall mounted on shelf. I mounted mire on a hand cart because it was so heavy to move in and out all the time.

Gpm really provides the cleaning, the psi only some. Mine is only 1500 but 5 a minute. That thing in the Northern link above is really dinky. Spend 2x that and you won't regret it in a month.
