Powermatic 1150 drill press

Saw an add this evening for a powermatic drill press, made the call to arrange a meeting.
Drove to town hoping it had a 900 or 1100 rpm motor, as most of my work is steel and most of these have a 1725 rpm motor.
It was made in 1970 and does have a 3/4 HP 1725 motor, but it was so clean I went ahead and bought it anyhow.
It is in really nice shape.

I have a very similar 1150, with the 900 rpm motor. Great machine!

Very nice! All the older ones I see are pretty well used.
