Powr-Grip locking pliers?

These Vise Grip type pliers just came to me with a lot of tools from CL, Powr-Grip 610. Hadn't seen any of these before, a web search didn't turn up much other than a similar pair for sale on Ebay.

I work about 1000 feet from the factory. Smith made garden tools called Snap Cut. They were still in business about 30 years ago until Vermont American bought them out. These are common around here. Most have a movable jaw I'm not fond of.

I have 6 of these with vise grlp wrote on them.i like them better then your type. I think they were built by vise grip.

Haven't had a chance to try them out on anything yet. Elidas, what are you not fond of, the locking pliers or the garden tools? Wasn't sure what you meant.
