Yes, Powr Kraft is well made and the line is from Montgomery Wards. Made in USA by the Tool Kraft Corporation.
Selling points for this press: Floor model, table is covered, so it may be in good shape.
CONS: mismatched handle, looks like it's been modified - see the switch cover, can't see if there is a table lift-looks like there is none.

Looks like there is a chain from the handwheel arbor running back to the motor? Got more pictures?

Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately this is the only picture of this one. They're asking $50.

That is a good price for a vintage USA floor standing drill press. Things to check:

Any bearing noise?
Condition of the table (the Arc of Shame)
Does the quill retract easily?
Any motor noise?
Any modifications?
Condition of the belts (easy fix)
Condition of the pulleys (Not an easy fix)
Does the chuck work properly? Is it rusted?
Extend the jaws completely. Check that they run true and don't have run out (wobble)
Any accessories come with the press? ( besides those Visegrips and that table cover/fence)
Does the table have a lift?
Can the head be raised or lowered on the column?
