I picked up this vise stand at a swap meet this past Sunday for $45. The seller also had a baby bullet which he sold for $185 the previous day.

I'm not a Wilton fan for no other reason than they are overpriced due to high demand, but I won't pass on the opportunity to flip something I think will help pay for my collection. Therefore, I'll say up front that I listed this on eBay yesterday.

That being said, I want to post photos of it here. I wasn't able to find any useful information about the manufacturer or this model of powrarm.

I have all week to examine and take photos. If you have information or questions about it, please ask!

The casting reads:

Garfield Eng-Corp, Kansas City, Mo Mod M2 POWRARM.

Brian

Key words: powerarm, power arm, Wilton

That's very interesting Rileysan. The name PowRarm and the style are patented by Wilton. My PowRarm is similar to yours but it has a different base and pedistal. I think that you have a pre-production prototype.
Even IF you're not a Wilton fan/collector I would recommend holding on to this or charging a premium if you decide to sell it.
FYI, it is a (Wilton style) #301.
Nice find, btw.

I just bought a '70's "Oregon" brand chainsaw sharpening attachment that is very similar to a Wilton 301 powRarm.

Internally it has a large rod like the hydraulic 303. Also the cup under the rotating ball is rounded, not 'V'-ed out like a Wilton - so I would think it would have more work holding capacity than a 301.
Everybody that I've talked to has never seen one like this before, including me.
The bolts seem to be metric and everything seems to be factory.
Asian maybe???
It is very similar to a Wilton PA but there are a lot of small differences... interesting piece of metal.
