PowrKraft odd ball

I found this little PowrKraft wrench the other day and I can’t make heads or tails out of a possible use. I think it just didn’t get broached. It’s marked 3/8 but the opening is much smaller than the 3/8 next to it.



Any ideas? How could this have been used?

It would be nice to see the whole wrench so we would know which manufacturer dropped the ball on that tool. I’m guessing Thorsen but I could be wrong. Here are some I got recently that came out okay.

I guess I should have mentioned, it appears also to lack the deep chrome coating that is common in my other Powr-Kraft wrenches. The markings are not very deep. Inside the stamp on the side, the script is thin, and it reads
“3/8 PowrKraft Forged in USA 3/8 “ I placed it next to a Thorsen 1/2 wrench.
Per your guess... they are both wearing a raised letter “H”.

That's a crazy little wrench, isn't it?

The name being inside a box reminds me of some late Kraeter wrenches, but that can't be right, can it?

It is weird. I agree. Not sure who suplied it, but i dont think it was quite done.
