Hi all,
Has anyone had good results with the PPG Aquapon epoxy product? My local garage store here in town sells it and they tend to carry better products.

I'm leaning towards this solution because it's sold locally.
I did a search but found little.

Any experiences? Thanks in advance.

Aquapon is a very durable finish. We use it on cosmetics production equipment that has everything from grease to mascara as a substrate. I work in the machine shop and often have to weld or modify parts that have been painted with PPG Aquapon. Procedure is to bead blast or grind the finish to remove prior to welding, etc. It does not like to be removed. Very durable to wash down and outside elements, it has a smooth high-gloss finish. Some what expensive at 90.00 for the A/B kit, I think it will outlast other cheaper finishes by a wide margin. Some of our equipment has been painted for nearly 20 years without peeling. Used properly, as opposed to our methods, it would make an excellent finish for walls cabinets and the like. Never seen it used intentionally on concrete, however have seen it spilled on concrete and it is very difficult to remove. My observations............
