So I came into possession of a 44 inch box and side box for the low low price of free this week. I plan on using it and getting rid of my craftsman 3 tier box.
Now my question is are they as good as the new ones. I honestly didn't play with it much when I moved it to my work, I had just worked a long day after a long week and wanted to go home so I didn't really pay attention. I know the thing is wicked heavy and the lock seems better than the new ones. Is the rest of it up to par?

Yeah that thing is one heavy sob. Me and my buddy really had a time lifting it into the bed of my truck

I have both. Both have liners out of the box. My old one is a better piece imo. Drawers open yu can move the drawer left to right. Bit of a wobble on the glossy. My old textured one feels more solid. Both are loaded down. One is 4 years ld the ther around a year. No issues with either
