Anyone have a good source for premade brakets, reels, hangers, etc for tool cart/bench fabrication.
Looking for items in raw (unpainted)
have some projects coming up, and I don't feel like making every holder, reel, bracket I am going to weld on.

Thanks,

My aversion is usually because of two factors, one the fact that everything "premade" is coated or painted, and much of that has to be removed for good welds (or burned up in the welding process), and two, most things that are affordable are produced out of a stamping press every three seconds and are based on nothing thicker than double digit gage sized metals.

buying can be good IF they have what you want and it will hold up. I made many to fit specific needs . It can be difficult to find what you want. I end up making them for others when they ones they bought broke . It's hard to find quality ones that are reasonable.

Couple of projects coming up,
welding cart - couple brackets to hang 4.5" grinders,
hose hanger to wrap oxy-acc hoses and mig gun, ground clamp.
misc tool organizer (metal one to stick screw drivers , pliers, pry bars in) id weld in on the side of the weld cart.

Did not know if there was a "Do-hicky and bracket company" ?

Jeezless...You can hang angle grinders on a piece of 1/8" x 1" flat bar. Get it in 3' lengths at the local Tractor Supply unpainted.

My local metal supply usually has premade brackets, braces, hooks, casters, caps for tubing, weld on hinges, etc. Usually all things you could make your own, but the time savings for a few bucks is worth it in some cases.

Making the brackets isn't really too time consuming, but I understand the convenience factor desired. If I'm building something, I'll design the brackets and hooks around the object I'm building. If I am using premade brackets, I might end up altering the design to fit the premade parts.

SSS Steel and King sell some stuff for wrought iron gates. The muffler supply places sell hangers and prebends. Winco has clamps, etc. McMaster car has collected lots of hard to find stuff. Bunches of Chinese companies make weird little ball on post do dad's for all position mounting. MSC, Granger, or AIW has stuff. There are companies who sell track, conveyor, hangers, etc. intended for manufacturing lines and factory butchers.

Every industry is supported by specialist mfg who may be hard for non insiders to find. What do you need specifically?

Cool,, Swag has exactly what I am looking for,,
Time is limited with me these days, I am looking for pre made brakets etc so I can make my "projects" ,, Same reason I did not fell trees and mill lumber when I designed and built my house,, I ordered lumber and spent my time building the house. But there ARE people who take great pride in having milled their own lumber to build their house, I just prefer to spend my time on the over all project

Check out Swag Offroad. They have a tool holder that should work for everything except your cord holder. You can make a cord hanger easy though.
