I think these are late 30's but they might be 1940+.
The only patent# is 1,489,458 , there's no logo on the side and no model # on the bottom jaw.
Notice also the hex head adjustment screw.

Thanks. They don't look like the patent drawing so I wonder if there are any other variations in between .:drool:

I always look for the roll pin on the lower lever to ID made in the USA vises. I was interested to learn that some of these early ones had a solid rivet. I'll have to keep an eye out now.
