I was going to use the bend pak but they don't have a hoist that will work in my config.... I can use the baseplate lifts but I am kind of finniky about having a clear floor.... so it looks like mohawk is my only choice.... damn glulam beam.... lol if only I could get it tight to the foundation....but thats another story....

For those of you that have the mohawk Is it a plug? or just hardwired to j-box? I am pulling 10/3 for service to hoist but would like to wire plug if nec.

The min spec is 14 wire with 30A, I added an outlet for small wire feeder. They provide a plug (company sent mine with a 4 pole) they probably use it for everything, anyway a 10 wire is fine, 12 is good too, 20 or 30A breaker.
I still need to finish my wire, will run pipe to the unit, box for recept to plug hoist to, another for welder. The company provided plug, I like them as a visual means of disconnect even though I can see the breaker, wouldn't really bother me to hard wire in that case though but plug is pro.
