I have one and while not as accurate nor feature rich as ,my Torque Angles..When its just lung nuts, this is the one I grab.
Ive had it in to calibration twice, its always been close and always been serviceable.

The great benefit of the split beam style is that they do not go out of calibration with use (or it takes MUCH more use than with a micrometer style). Also the adjustment is less laborious, and you don’t have to spin them down to zero between uses — both due to the fact that the moving adjuster part is not stressed when the tool is not in use.

Yes it only works clockwise.
