Does anyone have experience with the Precision Instruments M2FR100FX 3/8" torque wrench? I really like my 1/2" split beam and wanted to get a 3/8" micrometer from them. I can only find a few reviews on-line on they're not great. Any first hand experience would be appreciated.

PI seems to get bad reviews about light to almost non-existant "click" feedback. Seems to be hit or miss. My PI split beam has a very very light 'click' but I'm aware of it so I've gotten used to it. For comparison, my old C'man DigiTorque micrometer wrenches have very discernible click/feedback.

No experience with their micrometers, but I do have 2 of their 3/8" split beams and I like them a lot.

If you are happy with your split beam, did you check out their C2FR100F?

I have that item, I've owned it for about (5) years. I like the wrench, use it quite a bit. Clicks are very clear and pronounced. Setting the wrench is easy. I store it in the case, inside for maintaining room temps before using. I set it at lowest setting for storage. The flex head is a nice feature, allows just enough movement to allow a bit more clearance when needed. If I have any complaints, my Wright sockets don't like to release cleanly at times, that said, I feel the sockets are the issue, not the wrench. I asked a lot of before the sale questions from P.I. and they were pretty quick at replying.

I also have the P.I. M2R200FX w/ 3/8" head. 30-200 In. Pounds, I use it quite a bit for smaller fasteners, good solid click, slightly less pronounced than above. Nice tool.

I’m looking to buy a M2FR100FX as well I’m wondering if it has a ft/lbs to Nm reference chart on its body, I figure that you must be able to give me the accurate answer. Thank you in advance
