I live in SW Kentucky, and we have been getting a lot of tornados and storms in the past two years. I am looking at using my Predator 8750/7000 generator and a Generlink power meter attachment to run certain circuits in the house. I know I need to unbond the ground and neutral when attached to my main panel.
I've read a lot of threads on Floating Neutral and Unbonded switches. I've attached a picture of the wiring diagram (sorry if it's too big), and if I've read it correctly, the red circle is the wire that I would run to a switch to unbond for house power usage.
Looking at a few different switches, will probably go with a battery cut-off as I want something that can handle the load needed. I'm no slouch when it comes to electrical work, but I am definitely not an expert. Looking for confirmation from those that know a bit more about this than I do.
